Accessing Remote Learning

Catherine McAuley School uses Google Classroom for online remote learning.

Students have previously received login details for Google Classroom from their class teachers and most pupils should be enrolled in their classes from the previous term. Parents/Guardians should contact class teachers via email if their son/daughter has lost their login details. The class teacher will arrange to have the password reset allowing swift access the account.

Google Classroom can be accessed using a laptop, tablet or a phone. We recommend using the Google Classroom App which can be downloaded from the different App Stores.

If using a phone or tablet, students should ideally download 3 apps – GOOGLE CLASSROOM, GOOGLE DOCS and GOOGLE SLIDES.

 

For anyone who hasn’t already joined their class

To join their online class, students must go to https://classroom.google.com/u/0/h .

Input the login details as provided by the class teacher. Students will be asked to change their password upon logging in. Select a new password and keep these details safe.

Student should then click on their class and select JOIN.
